Kate Fleetwood as Goneril

Kate Fleetwood played Goneril at the Nation Theatre in 2014, i believe that she was an amazing actor and took on the role as Goneril so beautifully that even though she was evil you still loved her. 

Her version of Goneril was very cold and icy, she displayed a very powerful and manipulative character. 

When playing Goneril, you can really see the desperation in her eyes how much she wants her mothers title.  

I really took inspiration from how she played Goneril because i wanted to have that fierce and powerful look in my eyes but also show the audience that Goneril is just a young girl who was never loved by her mother, all she ever wanted was her mothers acceptance and love, ut she never got it.
